Currently, various galleries are opening up to showcase eye art. As an explorer and seeker, I visited one in my city to experience the process. I was warmly welcomed, and then the fun began.

I was taken to an apparatus resembling the one used during my eye exams. Resting my chin on the metal device, a beam of light scanned across my eye and captured photographs of it.  In all it took 4-5 photos of my eye .

After 15 minutes i was shown images that were taking- A hard copy was avaialble and they emailed me a large file.

It’s strange that you need to make an appointment for a gallery or shop setting, but you do. This is an impulse purchase. If I were walking down the street and stumbled upon this gallery, I’d want it done immediately, not have to return later.  The cost of reproducing and creating wall art is high.
